How do I purchase tickets or make a reservation for a specific show?

What are your show times? Show times are generally 8:00PM Tuesday - Saturday, with additional shows at 10:30PM on Friday and Saturday. THESE SHOW TIMES ARE ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE! Please call the box office for specific show information.
Are there any age restrictions? We are a 21+ venue. Minors between the ages of 18 and 20 may be admitted with their parent or legal guardian.
What is the difference between reserved and general admission seating? Reserved seating can only be pre-purchased online. Patrons who purchase reserved seats will be given the best available seats for the size of their party. General admission seats may be pre-purchased online or you may make a reservation over the phone. All general admission seating is on a first-come, first-sat basis. Please note that all reservations are only guaranteed up to 30 minutes prior to show time.
What time should I arrive?
The bar opens at 6:00PM Tuesday - Saturday. All reservations, including ComcastTIX purchases EXPIRE 30 minutes prior to show time, and ALL tickets are subject to release at this time. If you are running late, please notify the club and we will do our best to hold your seats.
Does Helium accept credit cards? We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards. No personal checks accepted.
What is the refund policy? All sales are final. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges.
Is there a drink minimum?
Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item minimum in the showroom (e.g 1 soda and 1 appetizer) which gives our patrons an opportunity to enjoy the food Helium has to offer. Beverages or food purchased in the lounge before or during the show do NOT count toward the two-item minimum.
Should I research the comedian before attending a show? Yes. Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube clip or reading the headliner's biography is a great way to get insight on the expected performance.
How long do the shows typically last? Shows are usually between an hour and a half and an hour and forty-five minutes.
Is there a dress code? Nice, casual attire.
Does Helium offer group discounts?
We offer group discounts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Discounts are as follows: 25-49 people (15 percent off), 50-74 people (20 percent off), 75-99 people (25 percent off), 100 people or more (30 percent off).
Can Helium be rented out? Yes. Helium has a wide variety of options when it comes to events. Full room rental, private shows, office parties and any gathering or get-together can be arranged with food and beverage packages. Simply call the club and ask for the group sales coordinator.
Is there handicapped access to the club?
Yes.
Where can I park near the club? There is a parking garage right next to the club as well as a parking lot on the corner of 20th and Sansom Street.
Is your club smoke-free? Yes.
Does Helium Comedy Club have an "Open Mic" night?
Every Tuesday night is open mic night and admission is free. Sign-ups are between 6:00 and 7:00, the line-up is posted at 7:30 and the show starts at 8:00. Due to time restrictions and the number of comedians signing up each week, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE STAGE TIME.
Are cameras allowed in the club? Patrons may take photographs before or after the show. Taking photographs, filming, videotaping or other recording of shows without the written consent of the club and the artist is strictly prohibited. Patrons who abuse this policy will be ejected immediately.
